Our activities
EA UiO follows the principles of the Effective Altruism movement, where the aim is to achieve as much good as possible for others with the resources one is willing to commit, be it time, knowledge or money: a) Cause neutrality: All kinds of causes are up for consideration; the aim is to find out where one can make the best contribution. b) Value all lives regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion. We value the lives of animals. c) Critical thinking: Our actions ought to be based on the best research and arguments. Some of our activities: Intro-fellowship, AI course, Philosophy reading circle, Social events (eg cabin-trip, weekly lunch).Awards
