Stand on campus

We are happy to travel to your institution to set up a stand. Here we can provide information about the association life in Oslo, as well as how to join an association. In addition to this, we help students find an association that is a good fit for their interests, whether it is study-based or hobby-related.

Presentation of the association life

Would you like us to give a presentation about the association life for new students, or help associations with tips and tricks for good association management?

We can come to your institution and give presentations. Among other things, we usually visit certain institutions during the semester start weeks and talk to the new students to ensure they have a good start to their studies with opportunities to build networks and make friends early on.

Events in our event calendar

Have you heard about SiO's event calendar? This is one of the most visited pages on SiO.no and has many hundreds of events published each semester. In order to give students a good range of things to do in terms of leisure activities and academic enrichment, we would like to see more events from the educational institutions in Oslo.

Association days at your place of study

For many years, we have arranged Association Days at the University of Oslo and OsloMet. In recent years, we have seen the benefit and need to showcase the association life at several educational institutions, and have, in collaboration with Kristiania and AHO, among others, arranged successful association days.

Guidance and help for associations

Heard of a student association that is having challenges? Ask them to contact us at SiO Associations! We provide guidance and can give advice. We also have referral expertise in most areas that we cannot assist with ourselves.

For many student associations, it is an extra support to have someone to discuss, doodle and discuss solutions with. Typical issues are reporting, financial challenges, recruitment, marketing and much more.
