NESCO is a non-political and non-profit organization and made up of the Nepalese students studying in Norway. NESCO organizes various cultural, religious and social programmes. NESCO provides a common forum within which Nepalese students and researchers at UiO can discuss issues of their interest. The main objectives of NESCO is to assist the Nepalese students in practical life and educational matters, to promote, advance and spread the awareness of Nepal and its ancient heritage, to act as a common forum of all Nepalese students, to organize and coordinate student's welfare, cultural and academic activities.
