The Judicial Winter Games (JVL) is an association at the Faculty of Law at UiO that primarily is responsible for organizing JVL each year. JVL is the largest social sports event at the Faculty of Law.

Our activities
JVL is a collaborative project between the law departments at UiO and UiB. For almost 40 years, over 200 law students from UiO and over 200 law students from UiB have met over three days to compete in various activities. We have competed in tandem skiing, slopesprint, sledding, etc. In recent years, we have organized the winter games at Storefjell Hotell with great success. Participants are driven up and down by bus, and receive board and lodging at the hotel. The ski slope is open and free, and après-ski is organized afterwards. There is also a banquet on day 2. The event is very popular, and tends to fill up quickly.
