Booking of rooms
Some student associations have offices or other places to meet, but not all. For those of you who do not, there are many good venues and meeting rooms that can be used for free or rented at a reasonable price.

For all studentassociations
Chateau Neuf
At Chateau Neuf there are several different premises for rent, ranging from smaller meeting rooms and bars, to larger stages and halls. Use of the premises is free for SiO-registered student associations. Free rental of premises at Chateau Neuf
Union Blindern
Student associations registered with SiO can hold activities at Union Blindern during the venue's opening hours. Stage, facilities, projectors and a number of games are available for use. Activities that are open to all guests at Union are encouraged. For example, language cafes, concerts or debates can be arranged here. Parts of the premises can also be closed off for internal meetings or exercises, and coffee or meeting food can be ordered from Union in advance.
It is free to hold events. Special conditions apply to events after closing time. Contact SiO Food and Beverage for further arrangements.
SiO Athletica
All student associations in Oslo can apply for fixed training time at SiO Athletica, even those associations that are not primarily involved in sports. In principle, you can apply for training time at all SiO Athletica facilities, as well as in the hall at OsloMet. It costs nothing to get fixed training time at SiO Athletica, but everyone who will be taking part in the training must have a valid training membership or buy a single ticket.
If someone wants fixed training time on weekends, this is possible at Athletica Blindern. It is also possible to apply for a shorter period, for example only for October. Read the criteria and apply for training time here. Questions can be directed to athletica@sio.no
For foreninger tilknyttet UiO
Approved student associations can use UiO's premises without paying rent. To borrow a room, you must submit an application. The application form must be submitted at least 7 working days in advance. Tip: Check the opening hours of the buildings before booking.
Even if you enter with a card, there is poorer ventilation when the building is closed. If you are a large group, it is therefore advisable to use a building with longer opening hours. Seminar rooms and auditoriums can be booked until 22:30 without paying for extra security. How to book free rooms at UiO
