About the event
Welcome to the official opening of the new multi-purpose room for faith and life-stance practice at Blindern.
All students and staff are welcome to take part in the opening, which takes place over two days. The programme includes activities that show the room’s possibilities for meditation, Muslim prayer, relaxation, dialogue and other student activities.
Programme for 20 August
09:00–09:30: Relaxation with student humanist Birgitte
09:30–10:00: Meditation with student chaplain Anne Anita
10:00–11:00: Dialogue Pilots on faith, doubt and hope for the future
* Panel discussion with three representatives from the Dialogue Pilots about what it is like to be young and belong to a religion or life stance today
12:00–13:00: Literary breathing space with student humanist and student chaplain
14:00–14:30: Dhuhr/Muslim prayer
15:15–15:45: Meditation with Buddhist conversation partner Shindо̄
16:00–16:30: What are Nature Conversations?
Short introduction to the group activity and a walk to the student garden with student humanist Birgitte

10:00–12:30: Digital log-off with student chaplain Anne Anita
* Technology-free zone with mobile phone hotel and presence
13:00–13:50: Conversation on "Faith in the modern world" led by Catholic student priest Peter (in English)
14:00–15:00: Dhuhr/Muslim prayer
