About the event

"Sembia is found in central Faerûn and it is a country of rolling farmland, wooded hills, rivers and prosperous towns. It has always been a merchants land of opportunity with a mild climate. In recent history Ordulin was destroyed by a vortex of shadow magic. This vortex has since been dispelled - the city of Ordulin free to be rebuilt! However the land hasnt been explored in quite a while, and the dark magic has seeped into the land itself covering it in heavy, dark fog."

Welcome to our Dungeons and Dragons campaign! Here you will not need to have any preexisting knowledge of the game, and the campaign is also not binding. In other words, you can join whenever you can and want to without your absences causing any problems for you and your character.
The concept is that the players work on upgrading the main town by going out and completing missions together. So each time you play, you'll be placed in a new group and get a new mission for the day. You'll be leveling up at the same time as everyone else, based on the upgrades of the town. We play in english!

Some practical info:
This is campaign uses D&D 5e as its TTRPG system. It is a West-marches style of campaign with some tweaks to make it more doable. It is a physical campaign so we meet every other thursday to play in the lounge (D112) on P52 at 17:00.

You do not need experience to know how to play, we will teach you, its a very open environment and we are happy to have you!

You can either make your own character, or get a pre-built one from us. If you wish to make one yourself, here's some information for that:
We start at level 3, you can multi-class from the start if you wish.
Only banned thing is backgrounds that give feats.
You have to use either "point-buy" or "standard array", and if you don't want to take the fixed level ups for health, then you'll have to roll it in front of the DMs.
In order to join, you will need to sign up through the post that gets posted on discord a couple of days before the session. The link for this is in the "sign up" button. We have a limited number of spots for each session, so we use a first come first serve method. If you don't wish to download discord, then you can send us an email or just meet up on the day and see if there are any available spots left. Each session has about 11-18 spots, and we're working on expanding this.

Due to the nature and themes of this campaign, it has an 18+ age limit.
