Green Day at Kringla: Free Repair Workshop 🛠️💚

Do you have clothes that need repairing, or electronics that no longer work? Join our Repair Party and learn how to fix your items ♻️ We’ll also be serving coffee and waffles 🧇☕

🗓️ On November 28, SiO invites you to Green Day at Kringla, featuring workshops and activities in collaboration with Relove, Restarters, Green Office, and the ReStore second-hand corner.

Choose the workshop that suits you👇

⏰ 11:00 AM-1:00 PM: Clothing Repair with Relove 👕
Got clothes that need a little love? Bring them along and learn simple repair techniques. We’ll provide sewing machines and sewing supplies. Please bring your own zipper if needed.

⏰ 1:00 PM-2:00 PM: Knitting & Crochet Meetup 🧶
Bring your knitting or crochet project, or try something new with fellow students. We’ll provide some yarn and knitting supplies while stocks last.

⏰ 2:00 PM-4:00 PM: Small Electronics Repair with Restarters 💻
Bring electronics that aren’t working, and get help investigating whether they can be repaired. Remember to bring chargers and any other necessary accessories.

You can bring items such as:
💻 Laptops, mobile phones, and computer equipment
🎮 Game consoles and controllers
🎸 Musical instruments and effects pedals
🔊 Speakers, record players, and radios
📱 Charging cables

We do not repair microwave ovens or large household appliances.

Practical Information
☕ Coffee and waffles will be served throughout the day.
🍲 Hot food will be served at 4:00 PM to the first 100 students who have participated in a workshop.
👥 There is space for around 100 students, so arrive early to secure your spot.
📝 Upon arrival, you will register the item you would like to repair.
🔧 You must be present throughout the entire repair process.
📦 We can help with one item at a time.
🛠️ You must bring any replacement parts yourself.
