Open Studio is a monthly workshop series where young people are given space to create, explore, and connect. The program is low-threshold and inclusive, functioning as an open studio for those who lack access to workspace, equipment, or a creative community.
Open Studio Autumn 2026 is part of Draw with Us at MUNCH, a long-term initiative that promotes drawing as an artistic practice, a visitor experience, and a fundamental form of expression. Inspired by Edvard Munch’s experimental approach to drawing and the museum’s collection, the project aims to encourage audiences to explore drawing as a meaningful way of experiencing, investigating, and understanding the world.
This autumn, we’ll be exploring drawing as a form of expression. Over several sessions, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in drawing as an artistic expression, from basic techniques to more experimental approaches.
