Reading group- Bullshit Jobs

About the event

For our next book club meeting, we will be discussing David Graeber’s notorious concept: "Bullshit Jobs." The phenomenon concerns the fact that many jobs offer no real value to society. Graeber asks: why do we allow this, and what does having a meaningless job do to people?
Graeber explores this topic in the full-length book *Bullshit Jobs: A Theory*, which was developed from his article "On the Phenomenon of Bullshit Jobs." You are therefore free to choose whether to dive deep into the concept by reading the entire book or simply read the shorter article; both are easily available online.
We’ll meet at 6 PM at Chateau Neuf to grab a beer or another drink and discuss! We hope to see you there!
