The nuclear energy debate: all or nothing?

About the event

Time: kl. 17.00, Thursday, 10.09
Place: Vilhelm Bjerknes' hus, Auditorium 2, Blindern

Why is nuclear power so controversial? Is it an energy source that lays waste to the environment, or is it a solution for the climate crisis? Is there a connection between civil nuclear power and atomic weapons? Can radiation from nuclear power plants cause cancer, or can it actually be used to save lives? What's propaganda and what's fact?
Students for Nuclear Power invite you to a debate where you can listen to what supporters and opponents have to say about this topic. Come and make up your own opinion⚡
