For investments and permanent measures
This is one of fifteen support schemes under støtteordninger.no that are listed in this document.
Here you can apply for support for technical means and for construction and improvements. The goal is to set up good arenas for the practice of music that can be used by many. The application deadlines are March 1 and September 1 each year.
You can apply for support for three main categories of technical equipment: Practice equipment, Performance equipment, and technical maintenance of old equipment. Applications for construction and improvements are divided into the three categories Acoustical preliminary project report, Simple room acoustic measures, and Construction and major acoustic improvements of rehearsal rooms and premises.
Orchestras and bands can apply for grants for the purchase of instruments. The deadline is April 1.
The Savings Bank Foundation does not award support for ongoing expenses, but both projects and one-off investments will receive support. These measures can be within the four categories Art & Culture, Local Environment & Cultural Heritage, Nature & Outdoor Activities, and Sports & Play. Support is not awarded to private individuals or commercial businesses, and priority is given to children and young people. Since the money mainly comes from Eastern Norway, it is projects here that will primarily receive support.
For Eastern Norway, the current application deadlines are 1 April, 1 September, and 1 December, while expenses for team sports uniforms are processed on an ongoing basis. Responses to applications vary depending on the amount. Amounts up to 50,000 kroner are usually processed within 6-8 weeks. Larger amounts submitted by the application deadline are usually processed within 3 months.
Application deadline: September 1
The Sparebankstiftelsen Bien prioritizes supporting associations and organizations in initiatives within the local environment, climate, environment, nature conservation, culture, coping and development for children and young people, as well as support for social engagement for disadvantaged people. Like the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, ordinary operations will not be supported, and its scope is limited to the municipality of Oslo and adjacent areas.
The overall goal is to support associations with broad activity towards the general public, increase creativity, positivity and growth, further develop the savings bank's traditions in the Oslo area, positive ripple effects for the foundation and the bank, and prioritize children and young people. Priority is given to projects that announce significant personal effort and support from others.
Application deadline: March 1
If your association manages premises, you can apply for support for this, as long as it does not concern ordinary maintenance or operation.
