Try kendo for free at OSI Kendo!
During weeks 35 and 36, we are hosting open house – two full weeks where you can try this exciting Japanese martial art!
Age: 18+
Experience: Not required
Equipment: Provided by the club
Meeting point: Please meet 10 minutes before the lesson at the reception of Athletica Blindern.
Bring: Water and training clothes.
Training times:
Tuesday: 7:15 - 8:15 PM
Friday: 5:30–6:30 PM
After training: We head to 2nd dojo for some social fun 🍻 with fighting spirit βš”οΈ
What is kendo?
Kendo is a Japanese martial art from the 17th century, developed from the swordsmanship of the samurai. Modern kendo is a form of fencing, where the aim is to strike the opponent with a bamboo sword (shinai) while wearing protective armour called bogu
